Every Elderella feature goes through a privacy and security review before it's released. Protection is built in from the start.
Ella, your caregiving partner, operates entirely within Google Cloud's protected environment, powered by Google Cloud's Large Language Model and Vertex AI with retrieval-augmented generation. Information shared is accessed securely and never leaves our encrypted systems.
We follow global best practices for individual privacy rights, including principles from the GDPR and CCPA, so you can access, update, or request deletion of your personal information with confidence. Read our Full Privacy Policy.

Ask us to remove your data, except where laws require retention.
Stop receiving marketing emails or withdraw consent for data sharing.
If you cancel your Elderella account, your data is retained for up to 3 years. (In case you return.) We also delete immediately, on request.
We may use aggregated, non-identifiable information to improve Elderella or to understand caregiving patterns. Nothing in these insights can identify you or your elder.
When we work with trusted partners (such as email delivery services), they only receive what is necessary to do their job and operate under strict privacy agreements.
